Beach House’s stunning record and their seventh studio album, the aptly titled “7”: The album has received critical acclaim from the Guardian, Rolling Stone, Loud & Quiet and has also been named Best New Music on Pitchfork. Ahead of release the duo shared four tracks from the album including the dark and immersive video for “Dark Spring”. Watch below…

All of the songs on 7 began in Beach House’s home studio in Baltimore, and were finished at Carriage House in Stamford, CT and Palmetto Studio in Los Angeles. The album was produced by Beach House and Sonic Boom, and mixed by Alan Moulder.

7 is available now via Bella Union, as well as Sub Pop in the US and Mistletone in Australia.

“Beach House add details that make the songs transcend formula… The sounds are glorious.” The Guardian – 4 Stars ****

“One of the century’s most enduring indie bands, their specialness has always been apparent.” Evening Standard – 4 Stars ****

“On this seventh album, Beach House add experimentalism to their woozy, beautiful tunes…. Their are genuine moments of revelation… Wonderful stuff.” The Sun – 4 Stars ****

“Beach House are finally embracing all of their creative moments, which have inevitably challenged them to become better artists.” The i Paper – 4 Stars ****

“More a subtle restyling than a full–on reincarnation, the soft–edged weightlessness, sumptuous tones and gauzy vocals still instantly recognisable on songs such as ‘Woo’ and the drop dead gorgeous ‘Dive’.” Uncut

“The Baltimore duo have somehow gifted us their masterpiece, and though the rain outside has now stopped, new heavens have opened.” Clash – 9/10

“Vast, hypnotic, beautiful… An exciting and essential album of 2018.” Louder Than War – 8/10

“Beach House return with one of their finest records to date, loaded with infectious, immersive melodies… Few can create such dreamy, melancholic yet pop–tinged worlds, as this duo.” Long Live Vinyl – 8/10

“While still unmistakably the work of Beach House, 7 is arguably their freshest sounding and texturally–rich set since 2010’s breakthrough Teen Dream.” London In Stereo

“Beach House continue to finesse their sound on this, their seventh album, a record that finds the duo expanding their cinematic bent.” The Observer

“A musical evolution for the Baltimore duo…” Financial Times

“Beach House have become one of indie’s most dependable acts, and on 7 that continues….” DIY

“Beach House are remarkably consistent, their woozy dream pop always finds a way to take up whichever space it inhabits.” Crack
